We’re excited to announce the results of our recent selection process for the Domestic Wiring NC2 program at Khuruthang Technical Training Institute. This marks an important milestone in our ongoing efforts to build a skilled workforce in Bhutan’s electrical sector.
The selection list comprises 30 promising candidates who have demonstrated the potential to excel in domestic wiring. What’s particularly encouraging is the diversity of our selected group:
- Gender Balance: While the majority of candidates are male, we’re pleased to see a significant number of female candidates (15 out of 30) joining the program. This reflects our commitment to promoting gender equality in technical fields.
- Diverse Backgrounds: The list includes candidates with a variety of surnames, suggesting representation from different regions and communities across Bhutan.
- Age Range: While we don’t have specific age data, the diversity in names suggests a mix of younger and more experienced candidates, which should lead to rich peer-to-peer learning.
Each selected candidate will undergo rigorous training in domestic wiring, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This program is designed to meet the NC2 (National Certificate 2) standards, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the job market.
